Here at Epiphany we have many great events that are open to everyone in our community. Many are annual events like the Village Fair every June and the Pumpkin Patch every October.
Scroll through these events below.
The Village Fair
Since 1948, on the second Saturday of June, our parish holds its annual Village Fair. The fair offers food, crafts, rides, a white elephant, basket raffle, a silent auction and a 5K road race.
The 71st Village Fair was held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 10am to 3 pm
Due to COVID the Village Fair was cancelled in 2020 and 2021.
Breaking Bread is a community meal sponsored by Walpole Families of Faith
Meals are served at the United Church in Walpole.
All are welcome, Mondays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Epiphany sponsors/hosts the meal once a quarter.
Volunteers needed 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Due to COVID this program served prepackaged food.
The Pumpkin Patch
Each October, Epiphany Parish's lawn becomes home to thousands of pumpkins. The pumpkins are consigned from a Navajo Reservation in Farmington, New Mexico. More than 1,000 Native Americans are employed and over 2 million dollars are raised for the reservation's local economy each pumpkin season. In addition to the outreach provided to the Navajo people, Epiphany also supports various other organizations including The Walpole Food Pantry and The American Red Cross.
The Pumpkin Patch ran in October of 2020 and is scheduled for 2021.
Luncheon for Seniors
Twice a year (Spring and Fall) our Pastoral Care Team hosts a luncheon for retirees and seniors.
we start with a brief communion service followed by a buffet lunch.
