Here at Epiphany we have many great events that are open to everyone in our community. Many are annual events like the Mother's Day Plant Sale, Strawberry Shortcake Sales and the Pumpkin Patch.
Scroll through these events below.
The Fundraiser Committee holds:
May - Mother's Day Plant & Strawberry Cake Sale
July - Strawberry Shortcake Sale at the July 4th Celebration on the Walpole Common
October - Fall Festival featuring Heavenly Apple Desserts during the Walpole's Uncommon Arts on the Common.
The Annual Village Fair held since 1948, on the second Saturday of June, offered food, crafts, rides, a white elephant, basket raffle, a silent auction and a 5K road race, but was postponded due to COVID in 2020 and has not resumed.
This program is not currently running and is being reevaluated going forward.
Breaking Bread is a community meal sponsored by Walpole Families of Faith
Meals are served at the United Church in Walpole.
All are welcome, Mondays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Epiphany sponsors/hosts the meal once a quarter.
Volunteers needed 4:00 - 7:00 pm
The Pumpkin Patch
Each October, Epiphany Parish's lawn becomes home to thousands of pumpkins. The pumpkins are consigned from a farm in Farmington, New Mexico. More than 1,000 Native Americans are employed and over 2 million dollars are raised for the reservation's local economy each pumpkin season.
The Pumpkin Patch ran through COVID in October of 2020, 2021 and 2022. In 2022, we added a photo op board and a story walk. The bake sale resumed and a craft table was added. We look forward to October 2023!
Luncheon for Seniors
This program has not resumed post COVID.
Twice a year (Spring and Fall) our Pastoral Care Team hosts a luncheon for retirees and seniors.
We start with a brief communion service followed by a buffet lunch.
