The Rev. Christen H. Mills is the Rector of Epiphany Parish. She is passionate about congregational ministry and especially enjoys working with and getting to know people of all ages and hearing their stories of what Christ is doing in their lives.

Christen studied at Boston University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Art History. After graduation she worked in retail as a sales associate at Ann Taylor and Borders Stores. In 2010, Christen served as a Young Adult Service Corps Missionary to Nagoya, Japan and spent a year supporting various ministries of the Anglican Diocese of Chubu. She received her Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2014.

On June 7, 2014 Christen was ordained as a deacon by the Rt. Rev. M. Thomas Shaw and she was ordained as a priest on January 10, 2015 by the Rt. Rev. Alan M. Gates. She served as assistant rector at St. Peter’s in Weston, MA from August 2014-October 2016. Christen was appointed the Priest-in-Charge at Epiphany Parish in November of 2016 and called as Rector of Epiphany Parish in 2019.

Christen lives in Walpole, MA and is married to Dan Hicks.

Hyo Choon became the Music Director in May 2024. She will play at Sunday worship, Fall Schedule at 10:00am and Summer Schedule 9:30am. She will work to build a Choir, open to youth and adults, who will provide musical leadership for congregational singing in the worship of the church.  All are welcome to join.  If you are interested, please contact Hyo Choon through the church office at 508-668-2353.

Cindy joined the Epiphany staff in July 2020.  Cindy spent her career in childcare administration. She lives in Wrentham and is married to Dan.  She is the proud mother of two children and grandmother to six awesome grandchildren. Jean is a long standing member of Epiphany Parish and has been involved in the Sunday School since 2001.  Most recently she has been working with the Pre-K and Kindergarten Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  Beginning with the 2019-2020 program year, she is excited to undertake the role of Sunday School Superintendent.

The Vestry is a committee elected by the congregation to work with the church wardens in managing the temporal affairs of the church.  This committee is charged with property management as well as fiduciary administration and human resource responsibilities. These members have accepted a call to lead the congregation to a closer relationship to God. Vestry members are elected by the Church membership and serve for three year terms.  Elections occur at the congregation’s annual meeting.  The work of the vestry is done in partnership with the Rector. The vestry meets the third Tuesday of each month. 

Senior Warden - The Senior Warden is an elected member of the Vestry.  He/she serves as an advisor to the Rector and as a leader to the Vestry and to the congregation. 

Junior Warden - The Junior Warden is an elected member of the Vestry.  He/she serves to assist the Rector and Sr. Warden in providing leadership to the Vestry and congregation. The Jr. Warden is also responsible for property maintenance. 

Clerk - The Clerk is a member of the Vestry and is responsible for taking notes during Vestry meetings and preparing and distributing the minutes, and correspondence for the Vestry.  The Clerk is also maintains a file of all Vestry meetings and takes minutes for the annual meeting.

Treasurer - The Treasurer is elected by the congregation and is accountable to the Rector and the Vestry.  The Treasurer is charged with the oversight of collections and deposits, the payment of bills, and the monthly generation of accounting reports.  He/she is the chair of the Finance Committee and is responsible for the development of budgets and filing the yearly audits.
