Village Fair - Saturday, June 14th 2008!

For 56 consecutive years, Epiphany Parish has sponsored the Village Fair on the second Saturday in June. A tradition for both the Parish and the Town of Walpole, the Fair is noted for food specialties like strawberry shortcake, barbecued chicken, and other grill fare, arts andcrafts, plants, used books and jewelry, a silent auction, and many activities for the kids - face painting, games of skill, and carnival rides.

The Village Fair is the largest fund-raiser for Epiphany Parish and brings together most of the members of the parish to help set up and run the fair.

Some of the proceeds of the Village Fair go towards scholarships for Walpole seniors. Each year, one senior from Walpole High School, Norfolk County Agricultural High School, and Tri-County Vocational High School are selected to receive an Epiphany Fair Scholarship.

The Fair is a huge effort taken on by the entire Epiphany family. Everyone at Epiphany pitches in to make the Fair a success each year. But here is a chance to help in a new way, a way uniquely valuable for those that just cannot be on site to do the work on fair day - Become a Village Fair sponsor.

This year, we will hand out fair programs to all attendees with the silent auction items, activities schedules, and church information. As a sponsor, you will be able to help out the fair efforts, even if you are unable to attend. Additionally, all sponsors will be listed in our new Village Fair program. Inside the program will be recognition of those providing that extra level of support.
